A girl was the first baby to be born during this new year 2021 in the Mexican Institute of Social Security (IMSS), informed doctors of this institution, who pointed out that Kimberly arrived in this world in perfect health and weighed three kilograms and 160 grams.

The family is originally from Coyuca de Benítez, but they have lived in Acapulco for years, the 28-year-old mother named Abigail thanked the doctors and nurses who attended her delivery for the good work.

He also said that, after receiving Kimberly the third of her daughters, she will continue her care in social security, where they will be given screening tests and other postpartum check-ups.

The health staff explained that one of the first indications is to breast feed the baby, which is the ideal way to provide young children with the nutrients they need for healthy growth and development. The recommendation of exclusive breastfeeding for the first six months is insisted upon.
