With the aim of preventing accidents, the Municipal Government urges citizens not to transport girls and boys under 12 years of age on motorcycles.

According to a bulletin, motorcycle, quad bike, and scooter drivers are reminded that these vehicles are more vulnerable during traffic accidents.

Girls and boys may exhibit unpredictable behavior while riding, which increases the risk of falls; they are also more likely to suffer serious injuries in a traffic accident.

To avoid such situations, the Municipal Government reiterates the call to the population to respect traffic guidelines, not to transport minors under 12 years of age, and both the driver and passenger must use helmets mandatorily and must circulate with their documentation in order to avoid penalties for infringing the Traffic and Road Regulations.
