The Secretary of Tourism, Ernesto Rodríguez Escalona, reported that Guerrero will participate in the next digital Tourism Tianguis organized by SECTUR and the best destinations of this southern entity will be offer.
Rodriguez Escalona explained that after a long meeting with the head of tourism in the country Miguel Torruco Marqués, they agreed to Guerrero’s participation in this event to be celebrated on September 2020.
It is important to mention that the face-to-face Tourist Tianguis were scheduled to March 2021, at Mérida, Yucatán, as planned for this year, however, due to the Covid-19 health emergency, it was suspended.
“By the instructions of the Governor, Héctor Astudillo Flores, we are going to participate in this edition of the Digital Tourism Tianguis 2020 to adapt to what is happening and continue promoting the destinations of Guerrero, for what is coming in 2021,” he said.
In this edition of the Tourist Tianguis, Guerrero will seek to promote the main destinations like Acapulco, Ixtapa Zihuatanejo, and Taxco de Alarcón, in addition to other options to visit on the Costa Grande and Central area of this southern.
