Fires and garbage on the Acapulco-Zihuatanejo highway represent a bad image from tourist

It is not only about clandestine garbage dumps, but also about long lines of all kinds of waste in gutters or among the vegetation on the side of the road.

Tourists and citizens in general who travel along the Costa Grande marvel at the beautiful landscapes, however, this is clouded by a large amount of garbage and smoke from grassland fires or burning waste.

It is not only about clandestine garbage dumps, but also about long lines of all kinds of waste in gutters or among the vegetation on the side of the road, as well as vegetation fires that have increased in recent days in Acapulco-Zihuatanejo.

Just in mid-January, staff from the municipalities cleaned up the federal highway due to the visit of the President of the Mexican Republic, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, who was in Petatlán to supervise the Sembrando Vida program.

In a short time, some people, especially motorists, once again filled the sides of the federal highway with garbage and even the clandestine dumps returned, with which it is verified that it is necessary to redouble awareness and vigilance actions.
