Guerrero authorities reported that despite the formation of Tropical Depression Thirteen-E off the state’s coast, good weather conditions are expected for Saturday and Sunday, allowing visitors to enjoy the sun and Guerrero’s tourist attractions.
Meteorologist Fermín Damián Adame, of the Guerrero Secretariat of Comprehensive Risk Management and Civil Protection, reported that the storm is located 195 kilometers southeast of Acapulco and is moving west-northwest at 9 kilometers per hour.
Given this situation, he urged the population to heed warnings issued solely by official sources and not be misled by rumors or false information circulating on social media.
According to the forecast, rain will continue for the next few hours; however, weather conditions will improve this weekend, allowing tourists to enjoy Guerrero’s beaches and tourist destinations.
