First reports indicate that the dispute began over the collection of an account from about 15 tourists, which vacationers considered excessive and rejected the payment.
A fight in which at least 30 people participated, between vacationers and tourism service providers, on the Island of La Roqueta, in the port of Acapulco, left five injured.
According to Public Security authorities, and the Center for Attention and Protection to the Tourist of Acapulco (CAPTA) , it is detailed that the dispute began with the collection of an account from about 15 tourists, which vacationers considered excessive and rejected the payment.
Almost immediately a discussion began between the visitors and one of the waiters of the place, whom a tourist faced and hit in the face, for which they started a pitched battle on the island.
During the fight, chairs, sticks, tables, glass goblets, and other objects flew among the groups of vacationers and the waiters of different restaurants on the island, without any authority intervening.
In the report, it is detailed that the visitors asked the authorities for support, due to the injuries and were channeled to a hospital at the Medical Center.
