Authorities and tourist service providers this Thursday received the first flight from the country’s Bajío, one of the new Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo routes for this year 2023.
It is a flight operated by the Volaris company and that will have two weekly frequencies (on Thursday and Sunday); arrived in Azuetense lands with a capacity of 189 passengers.
The flight was received by municipal authorities, hotel businessmen and representatives of the OCV; Historically, León is one of the main tourists markets that Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo has and with the new flight, that bond is reinforced.
Expectations for the 2023 summer vacation period are encouraging, thanks to the arrival of new domestic flights; and it is that according to the report of the Association of Hotels of Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo (AHIZ), in books there is an important percentage of reservations.
