Young veterinary students in Tecpan de Galeana, originally from Zihuatanejo, set up collection centers to collect food for dogs and cats affected by Hurricane Otis in the port of Acapulco.

The solidarity initiative seeks to provide direct assistance to pets facing difficulties due to the devastation caused by the natural disaster.

For several days, these collection centers have been receiving donations of animal food, including dry and canned food, intended to support pets in need in Acapulco. The generosity and commitment of these students reflects their deep concern for the well-being of animals during the crisis.

Pet food fundraising efforts underscore the importance of community solidarity in times of adversity. The action of these young veterinary students serves as an inspiring reminder of empathy and commitment to caring for animals in emergency situations.
