With a commitment to strengthening the productive capacities of Guerrero’s countryside, the Secretariat of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries, and Rural Development held a personalized training session on Good Agricultural Practices in the community of Carrizal de Bravo, with an emphasis on the proper management of foliar applications in avocado cultivation.

According to a bulletin, the head of Sagadegro, Alejandro Zepeda Castorena, said that during the field activity, each producer received direct assistance on their own plot to reinforce their knowledge on the selection of inputs according to the crop’s phenological stage, preparation of nutrient solutions, formulation, dosage, and application techniques that promote greater absorption and effectiveness, avoiding waste and minimizing both economic and environmental risks.

These actions are part of the drive Governor Evelyn Salgado Pineda is giving through Sagadegro to modernize the agri-food sector, with practical solutions adapted to the needs of each producer.

The technical guidance emphasized the importance of rationally using agricultural inputs, promoting more sustainable management that contributes to plant health, production quality, and crop yields.

Preventive practices were also addressed to reduce soil and water pollution, promoting environmentally responsible agriculture.
