Ixtapa Zihuatanejo is preparing a festival full of vibrant colors, delicious aromas and a unique atmosphere to celebrate the Day of the Dead; it will take place from October 31 to November 3. The event includes a parade of illuminated and decorated boats that will travel the bay, gastronomic tastings and costume contests.

The program will begin with the lighting of the monumental catrina in Plaza Kioto, in the center of the city; they are also preparing a costume contest, a catwalk of textiles alluding to this holiday and the catrina parade, which will adorn the streets of Zihuatanejo.
